I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT when "single issue"-focused fanatics and nut jobs (Anti-abortion, guns, religious, gay, etc. fanatics and freaks, and banks, big oil, insurance companies too) totally DERAIL and pervert proposed legislation all the time because of their fanaticism, and go feed it by bribing Congressmen who are more concerned with their boat payments than the merit of the legislation.
