Plastic connectors are cheap at the dealership. If the wiring is bad- it can be replaced with MIL-SPEC wire - get some of the fancy teflon insulated wire which is good for 250C.
The outer jacket which holds the wire together- get a piece of shrinkwrap. If there is the abrasion protection can be found also. Big thing is getting a high temp and teflon doesn't break down with exposure to oil/gas.
