This is hard. There are so many different things to like or not like.

Overall I had to pick 126. My favorites lie at both ends of the spectrum, 560SEL and SEC and the 300SD.

I love the way the 114/15 look and drive, same with the 107 Sl, which is based on the same chassis as the 114. But they don't have the refinement and amenities of the 126.

For a luxury car the 140s are very nice, but troublesome. If I had it all to do over again, I never would have sold my 126 300SD.
