79 W116 Valve Cover Linkage on 85 W123 VC

I just finished swapping the valve cover linkage off a 79 W116 300SD onto my 85 W123 300D.

This simplifies and cleans up the valve cover. with less linkage, it softens the force to push down of the peddle.

When I installed the 4-spd manual, I removed some of the linkage, bowden cable etc. this made the peddle much softer to push down also.
I have been looking at it thinking how to get rid of that big plate.

Thanks to "FORCEDINDUCTION" I saw a picture where he did this up grade.
