I bought my wife's 300SD last Spring with 310K showing and no idea how long the odometer had been non-functional. It has been a great car. Although there were no records on it, it was easy to see that it had been well maintained. I plan to fix the odometer pretty soon, just to see how far this thing will go. We've not ventured more than 150 miles from home in it yet, but I feel that it would take me anywhere and back. Uses about a quart of oil every change (which is probably about 3K miles).
