Nothing is more terrifying than being outside your car when it starts to move, and you are the driver.

If your tranny is really overfilled, you can either slip a thin (think fishtank air) hose down the dipstick tube and pump/siphon some out, or I suppose you could pop off the tranny cooler line where it goes into the radiator.
Even if the car were to go into drive at idle....it would not move at more than 3-4mph.....its not that scary.
