I looked into this a bit more, and now I'm confused as well.

Some vendors have a single listing for the relay for 1987, while others have a 'split listing' for that model year.

This is the split breakpoint:
A-396764 or lower
A-396765 or higher

What is your VIN?

In the meantime, I'll see if I can sort this out.
