I have been having the same problems with my car which i believe is the same motor as yours-2.6 liter 6 cylinders. What I have been advised to do is to disconnect the fuel relay and spray ether into the meter plate-this will eliminate fuel delivery and put it into a purely mechanical mode to keep the matter as simple as possible. One can also disconnect the EHA valve to eliminate all electronics from what I have read. You may want to try to crank the motor and check the voltage of the CPS and the ground which I myself have not done yet. I cannot help you much as I am not an expert. My approach is to think from point of view of spark, fuel, air obviously with timing correct. I have have read about vaccum leaks as well which ties into air.
