Can you select the described "Hose" and/or Metallic Pipe that's giving you
trouble from the attached Pictogram?
(The first Pictogram is the "up to" a certain date in 2000
The second Pictogram is "After" a certain date in 2000)

[Hydraulic Hoses (In the former Colonies) are used to transport HIGH pressure
fluids...The cooling system Mercedes uses typically generates only 1 bar]
[Jubilee clips here are called hose clamps]

I suspect one of the ML owners/experts will be along shortly to assist.
(The cooling systems are probably the same throughout the ML line
excepting the 400CDI model.)
