That connector just pulls off. By the way, you might want to verify you have the correct plugs installed. (Bosch F8DC4 or a NON RESISTOR, NON PLATINUM equivalent) If you use resistor type or platinum plugs in a 104 motor you will have misfire problems. The 104 motor uses a "waste spark" ignition system and it is very finicky about having the correct plug installed.

The databases that most parts houses (Autozone, Oreilly, NAPA, Advanced, etc) use list incorrect plugs for the 104 motor.

Bosch F8DC4's are sometimes hard to find but they are still available. Check with our site sponser, I bet they can send you some.
