If you need to change a hose, Thermostat, Heater core, Temp sending unit, or Head Gasket, before 15 years, you'll need new coolant in the process. Not to mention how much simply evaporates over time. Washer fluid will last 15 years also, as long as you don't ever actually use any of it. 15 years...Just like GM, with their 100,000 mile Dextron coolant...Hah! I just did a head gasket job, on a two year old Buick, with 30,000 miles on it. I also recently did a water pump job on a three year old Caddy. In both cases, put all new coolant anyways. So, who cares if the factory, or dealership says the coolant will last 100k, if nothin else under the hood will anyways? Don't be suckered into what they tell you.
