I have a HF floor jack that works great. My only complaint it you cant lower it slowly... once you twist the handle it's coming down.

I had reservations about the jack stands at first. I got the 3 ton ones and I LOVE them. Not too much can go wrong with a solid hunk of steal. I have laid under all my cars with those HF jack stands.
