I recently acquired 6 injectors from two non-turbo 5 cylinder cars at a pick and pull. My car is an 87 SDL turbo 6 cylinder. I noticed the injectors I pulled have a little disc with three half moon cutouts and these discs are in the top of the injectors just inside the fuel inlet port under the steel fuel line. My injectors do not have these little discs in them. Should I remove these discs for use in my car? I'm taking a wild guess here and thinking these discs are restrictors for non turbo engines?

Can anybody verify or explain this for me?
