I've always found it fascinating (and on a number of occasions more than a little irritating) that Christians, like their Islamist brethren have no problem understanding God's will.
No atheist, I find my proof of a creative force in the occurrence of the Golden Mean throughout nature. The delicate symmetry of leaves. The way a newborn lamb or kid seeks food from it's mother, the struggle to live and the eventual graceful submission to death of a dying mare. Anyone who thinks they know more about what the creator has in store for ME than I do is a fool, not to be suffered gladly.

I think if more Christians read the bible in its entirety they will be less inclined to be Christians. This is coincidentally what happened to me.
I've always held that passage close to me when people say, "What would our Lord do?" and subsequently proclaim what is right.
I said it earlier and i'll say it again. Nothing is more pleasing then helping another. This morning I offered my fresh cup of coffee to a guy who was running late. Since I had an extra hour to kill I gave him my cup.
I'm not good hearted by any stretch of the imagination, but I try to help others as often as I can. Personally we should all do the same.
