My '88 560 SEC has developed a strange noise (a ticking sound) coming from behind the buttons of the center console and my air doesn't work. When the car starts moving, it ticks away and then after about 3 minutes, it stops and then the air works. Any idea what it might be? It always re-occurs again after it has sat for a bit.
