They have been outsourcing manufacturing to the US for a few years now. It seems they can make it work here, while our own home-grown companies can't or won't! Transportation costs will gradually take a bigger bite out of the price tag of new cars, while new automation makes the labor cost differences less significant. Maybe it makes sense to produce products as close to the customer as possible.
