I use a lot of Norton/Symantec’s a/v stuff. First, if the product is licensed you can probably call Symantec for support. Their support is generally very good or better. Here’s the number for their corporate a/v support group: 1-800-927-4017. They can probably direct you.

Second you can probably configure the software to disable most features. Go to their web site and look for info on it, or again, just call support.
