Yeah they are great cars.. I used to hate them especially since my dad bought one years ago ('82 280E Euro spec). At that time I think the W124 was still the Benz to have.... so I thought the 123 was definitely out of date and unattractive.
How I wish I had that car now... Diamond Blue with Blue Velour interior, working A/C and 16" BBS RS wheels, and a little lowered too.
Even though I have one, I still wish that I could have a 280E or 280CE in Euro form. I saw one. That Euro M110 motor started and sounded amazing! I couldn't believe just how quiet and sporty a W123 could be...
Then reality steps in and I could hear my klattering beast in the background :p - At first I thought the 280E's engine wasn't running.
