Funny you mention that. I have my theory on mid-life crisis cars and that is most folks can't afford the nice, sporty cars they wanted when they were younger. At least not until they reach a certain, comfortable financial level which, coincidentally, often doesn't occur until "mid-life." Now if I go buy, say a 'vette or a 560SL, folks would say, "Oh, look at Bill. He must be going through a mid-life crisis." When in fact I've wanted one of those cars for a good 20+ years but couldn't afford one until now. Fortunately for me, I don't really give a rats arse what anyone else thinks.
