My husband brought it to the toyota dealership. His buddy is the service manager at toyota, his prior job was the service manager at the Mercedes dealership.

I did have quite a bit of work done at an independent shop the same week as the mirror repair. That shop replaced the water pump, thermostat, tune up, main belt, belt tensioner, etc. They had the car for 3 days. They could be the ones responsible for the console damage.
