Yes, mine uses #173. It's the first image in the 2nd post. Part #188 (bushing) is used in both places on the rod and so is #194 (clip). You can see the 2 different styles in the pictures I posted in post 2.
I used PB Blaster to loosen up the crud on the adjustment knob (on the rod) to get the pointing index (gear indicator) exactly right.
