Well I'm gonna say this, so please don't flame me. . . .

You should really look into a 96-97 Passat TDI

they get 50mpg and are really comfy. They don't really hold a candle to the 140 it terms of luxaury, but they are nice cars.


If your serious about a 800 mile a week commute, you NEED the extra MPG's

If you must have a M-B. go for the 124, 87 or 90-93. or even the 1995 non-turbo. comfy and good mileage (30's for all those vs 26ish for the 140)
