I feel your pain man.

I drove around and couldn't find that darn hex key either.

BUT much to my luck my Autozone actually had the sockets! They came in a 1/2inch drive and I didn't have the adapter for it.

Try NAPA or Carquest. You might have some luck there. Also if you give up the internet can yield some help as well.
