A friend of mine over in Leesburg sent pictures of accumulating sleet yesterday  .
They were saying on the news that this is some kind of record for the longest and coldest cold spell since they started tracking it. So much for all of our tropical landscape. The Papaya's, Banana's, Mango's and Pineapples are all wilted and brown. I think they might have "bit the dust".
It is supposed to get a little better mid week. Lows in the mid 30's and Highs in the mid 50's to lower 60's.

That is just awful. I planted a couple of grapfruit trees down there back in July. I hope the home ownses association doesnt give me hell about it

I belive it to be the coldest ever...........Must be Global Warming or something
