A little pricey, but it sure is a nice upgrade. He got the zebrano wood version, with black leather at the top half of the knob, and the top center has the Mercedes Logo.

Why pay that much? For about $15 you can buy a replacement shaft called an adapter shaft, without a knob, from the same company. It allows you to screw in any type of newer mercedes or aftermarket knob. You have to call them up because the adapter shafts are not viewable on the website if you don't have a catalog.
