I heard speculation on radio news that the cold in Florida might weed out some of the
python invasion in the everglades. I don't guess pythons would be any easier to find and catch owing to extreme cold, however.
I looked for any new info on that connected to the current cold snap and couldn't find it. I did find this bit about pythons freezing:
