I'm with you on that.
I'm a 13th generation American, and basically white, but I took a DNA test to confirm Native American ancestry. So am I allowed to check Native American?
What about "Hispanic", which is not a race? It just describes people from Latin America. People from Spain would never describe themselves as Hispanic. Hispanics can be any race or mixed race.
Also, my kids are half Japanese. Which box should they check?
