Color me "nerd" also. I have all of my cars on Quattro Pro with every expense detailed. The oldeset was a '87 300E that my mechanic bought. It has about 208K. I spent about 22K over 10 years on this car. My '91 190E (sold), my '93 320CE (money pit) and my '95 E420 (least troublesome) are all documented.
The good news is that none have any transmission problems.
