Try finding someone to work at a fast food restaurant for $8/hour in many parts of this country. I think blaming illegal immigration for the current economic conditions is just a little too simplistic. The "american dream" is something you create for yourself by getting off your butt and getting an education and/or a job (in another part of the country or the world, if necessary). This issue is a red herring.
