Well, if you think it's important then you should try to find a political candidate (of any party) that agrees and see if you can help him get elected. Maybe your guy can figure out how to get them kicked out or made legal. My guess is that it will be difficult generating much national interest in the issue. Maybe you can get that disenfranchised citizenry to show up and vote for your guy.
