reminds me of the aids charity run by dionne warwick, which had "overhead" of about 75 cents on the dollar.

charity does seem real popular among robber barons, especially in their declining years, when they start to worry about their reputations. (maybe an insurance policy for the afterlife?)
You can always give some money to the catholics so they can go to africa and tell people that using condoms is "wrong," or maybe pay for the defense of a few more pediophiles.

Are we counting that as "charity" too?
