I am surprised that no one mentioned Trend Micro's program named House Call. It is free and it identifies and cleans out all the bad-ware.
If it still persists there is always
www.bleepingcomputer.com. This site has a lot of real computer experts who help folks in their spare time. You describe the program and wait a day or so. They will typically respond and give you directions to download and run a program which checks your computer and issues a report - in great detail. Then you send them the report and wait a day or two. They will get back to you, tell you what problem(s) you have, and tell you how to get rid of them.
I had a continuing problem of Task Manager showing 100% usage of my resources all the time, even when all I had open was the internet; this in turn made my desktop run as slow as molasses. Turned out that there was something wrong with my Activa card - this is a wireless card. They had me install only a portion of the Activa program from the card. Wireless and internet worked perfectly and the 100% usage problem went away.
