Well, due to greedy insurance companies and lawyers, Las Vegas trauma has shut its doors. Doctors couldn't afford to pay malpractice insurance, which is VERY high, so now look where insurance companies and lawyers have put everyone.

My father is a doctor, and talked my sister out of med school because of what ins companies are doing. And I decided to go into law so that I can protect doctors. I hope congress steps in and does something before we lose more trauma units.

Maybe its time to make it a little more difficult to sue doctors and maybe there should be a cap on what can be sued for. Pretty soon, you won't have anyone to go to after a violent car accident.
