In two weeks, I will have the chance to possibly buy a 1938 Amilcar Pégase Type N7. I have a pic of one of its brothers. The one I'm looking at will be iridescent dark champagne color, original paint from the old days when iridescent colors were done in stages.
What I'm most concerned about is the engine, which will likely need some work. In the late 30s Amilcar got its engines from a reputable company called Delahaye, and the car has a Delahaye 135M engine and 4 speed synchro'd gearbox.
I'd like to find a technical description or better yet, a repair manual. Any and all help will be appreciated on list or off line.
