I feel the hole(s) for removal of the lines at the steering gear... If needed or not, that exhaust piece is coming out to make things easier. Will see if some of the pros pipe in and say otherwise. If they tell me how without..

Gives me an excuse to order some Wurth products=0). They make a nice assy paste for exhaust parts and I want some of their flange sealer for gaskets/ those pesky cam magnet leaks.

Honestly, It looks to me like that heat shield screw goes in from the back side-? Maybe down by the ps? Who knows what has to come out to get to it... can't seem to find a procedure in the manual that covers r&R that thing...
So, I'm not sure removal of the engine would provide access=))))
