Yes, that was helpful.... those are the top guides, which I was planning to replace. I hadn't ordered those little square gaskets, but since the old ones seem tired, I'm going to order new ones today (along with a pile of other parts).

I had already bought the top guides (as shown in your other post) and was going to swap them last night, when I noticed one of the other chain rails inside the cylinder head was broken (see attached photo). Problem is, there isn't a procedure in the FSM or WIS showing how to replace those rails in the cylinder head (there are three of them - two on driver side, one on passenger side). Looks like the cam adjuster has to come out to do this - ugh! The ones I need to replace are shown in this PDF file, section B (page 2), guide numberrs 8, 14, and 26.
