I have a few trucks and collect WMO and when I get a 205l drum I heat it, filter it for 2 days then mix it with Diesel between 15-20%. I alternate between full tanks of Diesel anfd the mix. I used get my oil picked up as I thought it was recycled but I asked the driver and he told me it just gets cleaned and used in the company trucks as fuel.
Plus when you think about there are a lot worse offenders out there that polute more than a few cars running a mix of old oil. Governments and their one sided policies come to mind to protect big business and their financial backing.
I'm not into poluting but the bottom line at the moment is to get as much value for money as possible out of everything. Thanks to Government policies. If anyone should be blamed it should be them.
I do as I please. It is one of my freedoms and I'm not here to tow the line so to speak. Unfortunately I don't need heating where I am so I have to put the used oil to good use or someone else will use what I paid for. It's all pure economics.
