I did not say to go inside of it.

All of the other external seals I would replace as they are 20+ years old and been heat cycled many, many times. Servo o-rings, seal for throttle valve cable, etc. ATF leaks are a pain in the ass and you can counter them by being proactive by replacing the rest of the seals that always leak while the trans is out of the vehicle.

Install the Superior Transmission kit, far more indepth than the K1 kit.
