I wouldn't mind the commute at all ... but I would mind being so far from my family and friends, all of whom are concentrated up here. I like the idea of being able to swing by my parent's place quickly before work, or meet my sister for coffee. A piece of me also likes being near the city (sometimes). If I were loaded to the gills, I'd get a place out in Chateau Country, where the du Pont's have managed to preserve a landscape that's just gone everywhere else in Northern Delaware. I love it up there ... but don't have $3 million to drop on a house.

There are actually a few houses that I see up here that I like ... unfortunately none of them are for sale. Sometimes I just want to knock on the door and say, "any chance you'd like to sell this house?"
