R 12 in jersey has come way down from 2 years ago it should not cost over a 200 bucks to have it evaced and re charged if its the 91 car they make a conversion kit for it, it consists of screw on valves so the 134 will adapt a few o rings and oil and than Wal Mart has re charge 134 for like 20 bucks yea its 3 or 4 deg less cooling but jersey its never like Vegas - jz

Yah its the '91. The 08 Subaru Outback still is under a factory new car warranty, so all of that would be the dealer's and Subaru's job to fix, if it was that car..
