I did remove all hoses around pre-heater, they been replace, but I notice some moisture inside the lock ring. So I think I will get the
repair kit, hope the smell goes away. I will keep you post it on the outcome.

I am inclined to believe that the hoses should be replaced first before digging into the pre-heater. My 92 looks to have original hoses and those degrade over time due to fuel exposure.
