The Saints should have lost all kinds of games this year but they didn't because the breaks have fallen their way just about every time. It is almost like some supernatural force wants them to win, and interferes just enough to make it happen. The Saints have played great football this year, no doubt at all. But they've also had more than their fair share of good breaks as well.
Didn't see many Colts games did you? Down against NE, down against the Jets in the playoffs. A lot of games they were down. Then comes the 4th. Somehow the Colts pulled them out, or just fired on all cylinders. This is just a one year fluke either. They did it against Tampa, when they were a playoff/SB caliber team. "Just Catch the ball,Keshawn'.They did it against the Titans, when they were tuff.
I won't diss the Saints. I think they have the players etc. A lot like the Colts, they got lucky, or stayed in close games and came out the winner. There were more than a few game either should have or could have lost, during the regular season. Some against not very good teams. Remeber the Redskins? The Saints do have a better defense than last year. Actually, in the begining of the season, they were one of the better ones. I think this is the best defense the Colts have had. I don't think the Colts offense is the best they have had, though. It lacks a strong running game. Also, Freney is injured. No excuse though. I am sure some of the Saints are nicked up etc. Always fun to debate which team could clame to be the best if they had all their players 100%. The Colts are missing more than a few, Sanders and Gonzales come to mind. Also, Vinetari.
It could go as you say. If from what had playout out most games this year, the Colts will get behind early. Then the offense will even the score, by half time or in the third. Then whos the best in the 4th? I think the Colts. I want to see the Colts win, so I don't have to hear how a great QB Brady is. Other than that, or if it wasn't the Colts, I'd cheer for the Saints. Kind of a soft spot for them, that oges back to Hebre (sp) and Iron Head Hayward. One of the few running backs that actually punished the defense.
