Unless you actually need the 4matic...it does not seem logical to buy one and disconnect the 4matic system. There are plenty of nice w124 wagons popping up all the time, just be patient and you'll find one that suits you best. Good thing about wagons is for the most part they are abused less as they are more of a family car

so much more useful than my sedan when it comes to carrying anything at all.
