Also I remember when I was a kid and we went on that one fateful family camping trip... up across the Straits of Mackinac. Wherever we were (Fayette..?) we pulled into town with my dad's 1982 Olds Delta 88 Diesel and a pop-up camper. Sulfur smell like you wouldn't believe. So my dad is all "yeah, there's a paper mill here, so you just need to get used to it".

We pulled in the campground and the smell got worse. "Dad, that really STINKS!"

We got out and set up camp and I noticed that the car was smoking from under the hood.

Voltage regulator went in the alternator and fried BOTH batteries. They looked like basketballs...
