Yeah the Lexus/Toyota high-end A/C units are definitely top notch. I had a Toyota Crown that could freeze all four passengers with its a/c at the lowest blower setting. FYI, weather in Jakarta is 90F all year long.
It was so soft that it bottomed out when it hit mid-sized bumps..
Maybe if you could get hold of the Toyota Celsior parts they are cheaper

They are the same cars anyway.
I also heard that you could take the Lexus to Toyota instead and they'd fix it for less... I don't know how true that is though.
