LOL @ teezer

Well, I barely made it through this round of it. I lost all power, heat, cable, water, etc. for about 36 hours, and a tree went down right outside our house in a live powerline. So we were trapped. Luckily, my dad has a generator to run the fridge and a couple other crucial items (like the coffeemaker, haha), and we had a fire place and tons of wood. I couldn't make it to work, because of the tree ... tried to have a coworker pick me up a mile away or so but the roads were too bad and I didn't want to jeopardize her life. Fortunately today the tree finally got cleared, so I was able to drive to work (my backup plan was to hike 3 miles and have someone pick me up ... glad to dodge that).

Also, I noticed the snow looked pretty ominous on top of the garage, and you could see the roof's apex was starting to soak through to the inside. So I got Bodhi out of there real fast and let him enjoy the snow instead of getting collapsed on. Garage is still holding up but I'm not putting anything back in there yet.

Oh spring, where are you?
