What this correct answer indicates is that there is no dipstick tube on a 722.9.

If you don't have oil all over the bottom of your car and on your garage floor or driveway, you do not need to "check" your transmission fluid.

Fluid is added to the 722.9 via the drain plug hole, too. Special tools required, and not really a DIY possibility.
