He let me fire off a couple of rounds and it was great, that thing is a tank. It weighs a ton, kicks good, fires the big old 30-06, and can cut down trees.
Now I want a BAR bad, I'm going to need to start saving! I want the full auto version though, that would be a blast to shoot.

The sport 30.06 BAR sold by Browning is essentially the same weapon without the box magazine, perhaps the best upland deer rifle I've ever used.

Semi-auto standard WWII assault rifle seems like kind of a waste me, given all the added extra weight.
The .300 Winchester Mag version is a truly awesome weapon, you could cut down a tree with one of the effin things. The ejection sounds like a cannon round being chucked out. If I was to choose the best possible Armageddon/Apoclypse-In-the-US rifle, it would be one of those. Excuse me, I have to go bury 10,000 rounds of .300 mag in my cellar.
