I have a great deal of respect for commercial fishermen, it seems like a really tough way to make a living.
Getting into the life raft is usualy the first battle. Provided it doesn't blow away, or isn't ripped away, or the boat doesn't sink to fast, if you can get in you have a good chance of living for a bit longer. The offshore ones have canopy's you can zip up so you bounce around like your in a washing machine as you wait.
