As an IT guy, I deal with Indians pretending to be American, and in America all the time. My favorite is when they pick an Anglo name. One time last year, a guy was telling me his name was Chad and that he was in Texas. I said okay, my name is Srinivas and I'm in Bangalore. He tried not to laugh but he knew he was busted.

Twice I had to wait about 30 miutes for someone to answer the phone, going thru this mess, while the recording kept telling me how important I am; they're a joke.
Other good places are "Rusty's" and "buy-direct.com"
This was a good lesson - and relatively inexpensive.
